Pelotonia is a grass roots bike tour with one goal: to end cancer. Pelotonia raises money for innovative and life saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center- James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Driven by the passion of its cyclists and volunteers, and their family and friends, Pelotonia’s annual cycling experience will be a place of hope, energy and determination. Leveraging Netjets’ transformational gift, Pelotonia directs 100% of every dollar raised to research. It is a community of people coming together to chase down cancer and defeat it.
As the Midwest’s first and Ohio’s only freestanding cancer hospital and research institute, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is one of only 40 centers in the United States designated by the National Cancer Institute as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. The James is a national leader in creating and testing new therapies based on scientific research, many of which are offered nowhere else in the world. By supporting the OSUCCC-James, Pelotonia is leading the charge against cancer – a charge that only becomes stronger with your help.

The LX & Beyond Nationals will be helping Ssulin Anne and “Team Hot Wheels” to raise money for cancer research by riding 180 miles in 2 days at the Pelotonia Bike Tour. Team Hot Wheels and some of their volunteers will have a booth setup at the 2009 LX & Beyond Nationals, also we are asking for some items from our sponsors to be raffled off to support them in their efforts to raise money for cancer research. No donation is too small, and every little bit helps.
Thank you for your support!
