Mopar has raised the bar in the highly competitive NHRA Super Stock class with the introduction of the 2011 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak. This turn-key factory race car is equipped with a 512 cubic-inch V10 Viper engine and is mated to a specially designed two-speed automatic transmission. “With the introduction of our new 2011 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak, Mopar will be the only place to get a factory-built V-10-powered race-ready drag car,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “Mopar’s new Challenger Drag Pak will appeal to sportsman drag racers, collectors, dealers, and Dodge Viper owners.” Following on the heels of the highly successful 2009 Mopar Challenger Drag Paks that have won numerous class championships, the 2011 will carry on the tradition of shutting down the competition at drag strips across the country.
